Forged Custom Coating's Process

01. Preparation

 Floors are prepped using diamond grinders with hepa filter vacuums to minimize dust.

02. Repair

 PolyGrout is used to fix all pits, spalls, and cracks on the floor surface.

03. Base Coat

 A rapid-cure Polyurea Basecoat is applied.

04. Broadcast

 Decorative flake is broadcasted onto the floor.

05. Scrape

 Excess flakes are scraped and vacuumed from the Floor Surface.

06. Top Coat

 A Polyaspartic Topcoat is applied.

Yes, we are fully insured. This ensures every project is protected and gives our clients complete confidence in the quality and professionalism of our work.

 You have several options for keeping your belongings out of the way during installation. Items may be relocated to another area of your home or moved off-site if preferred. A portable storage container is also an option, and discounted rates may be available upon request.

You can expect to walk on your newly coated garage, patio, or walkway after about 12 hours of curing. For heavier items like vehicles, refrigerators, shelving, or tool cabinets, give the surface a full 24 hours so it can harden properly. If your driveway was coated, wait the same 24 hours before driving on it.

No, you don’t need to be home during the installation. We just need clear access to the areas we’re coating, such as the garage or backyard. You can leave the garage door open and unlock the side gate so our team can get in and complete the work smoothly.

Absolutely. For a typical two‑car garage, our team starts in the morning and finishes your newly coated floor by the end of the day. Our fast‑curing Polyurea and Polyaspartic system allows us to deliver a durable, high‑quality finish within a single day. Many front porches, patios, and driveways can also be completed in that same one‑day window.


Larger projects, such as pool decks or commercial spaces like warehouses or schools, may require 2 to 3 days depending on size and complexity. Weather and concrete conditions can occasionally influence the schedule, but we keep you updated every step of the way.
